Seminar-cum-Panel Discussion Gandhi National Memorial, Aga Khan Palace, Pune
Assisted National Women’s Organisation Pune Jeff Knaebel and Rama Rauta presented papers
2. International Youth Conference for Peace Pune February 2006
Assisted WFRAL in the essay contest for Pune’s youth and in organizing the conference at the Symbiosis Bhavan. Delia Maria was on the selection panel for three best essays.
3. ‘Go Back Bush’ Street Demonstrations February 2006 Pune
Delia Maria and Sheela participated along with Pune LRS in a peace march in Pune city. Over 400 peacelovers from different Pune organizations under the b anner of Anti-Imperialist Front were present.
4. 8th March 2006 Intl.Womens Day
FOGM starts the first Mahatma Gandhi Adult Literarcy Class for illiterate women in Burmah Shell slum on Airport Road
5. Women and Peace National Conference March 2006 Aga Khan Palace Pune
Sixty delegates from all over the country met for a three day workshop at the Aga Khan Palace to discuss and debate on such themes as, domestic violence, women in the media, women as peacemakers and other topics. Shobnatai Ranade, Delia Maria, Mallika Mistry, Sheela Rao, Asha Deshpande were among the many speakers

7. Delia Maria attended the workshop for facilitator training in attitudinal healing held at Ishvani Kendra
8. Pune 11 September 2006 100 years of satyagraha celebrated by FOGM
by distributing 500 ‘ Nonviolence’ badges to groups and NGOs in Pune city Jeff Knaebel spoke at a session on Relevance of Gandhi at Jaipur attended mostly by veteran Gandhians and scholars
9. 2nd October 2006 Gandhi Jayanti celebrations
Rama Rauta attended the National Gandhi Jayanti Conference in Haridwar
Delia Maria awarded the Rachanatmak Kryakarta" (a constructive worker) for the year 2006 by Gandhi National Memorial Society, Aga khan Palace, during the Gandhi Jayanti celebrations there.
